SafeOffice.com: Blacklist, Hotel Reviews, Provider Resources
A representative from SafeOffice.com has set up a FREE account with access to the “Community” section for SWOP-NOLA members to use. This includes:
- a Blacklist section (a bad client list/blacklist)
- a Hotels section (Hotel Reviews for providers)
- a Resources section (a somewhat sparse list of links to resources that might be of use to providers)
Now that ProviderBuzz is (temporarily? permanently?) gone, this might be an especially helpful tool. If you’re interested in obtaining access, contact us for the username and password and further instructions.
SWOP-NOLA Google Group
If you are interested in being a more active member of SWOP-NOLA, or if you attend meetings regularly, I can give you access to the (private, password-protected, verified-providers-and-screened allies-only) Google group. Contact swop.nola@gmail.com for further instructions.

Desiree Alliance Proposal Deadline Extended
The Desiree Alliance Conference (July 14th to 19th, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV) has extended its deadline for presentation proposals. Proposals from presenters will be accepted until April 1st, 2013.
Louisiana Queer Conference
The Louisiana Queer Conference is this Saturday, March 23 at LSU! The theme is “Turning Education into Action!” It’s free, but you have to register through this online form.
New Orleans Abortion Fund Game-a-Thon
The New Orleans Abortion Fund is having a Bowl-a-thon/Game-a-thon on April 18, 2013. Their website doesn’t let me copy/paste, so just go there and see for yourself!
Southern Harm Reduction Conference in New Orleans
